A bit about myself: my name is Olga. I have grown up as Russian in Lithuania, then lived in Sweden, Spain, spent some years in Geneva and have currently settled nearby Zurich in Switzerland. Each country and culture gave me something, contributing to who I am. Lithuanian people have some intuitive creativity in them; if you ever come to visit its typical

handicrafts fair in March, you will be impressed! Observing it though my years in Lithuania served as a small teaser. But it was not until I got to Spain, when I have thought that I also wanted to try making something for the first time. The girl I stayed with while studying in Spain was doing

handmade jewellery from beads and leather laces and I thought, if she can – I also should, at least was worth trying. But it was not until many years after, when I have actually made that try. And final push and inspiration was taken again on a small Lithuanian fair of handmade crafts where I bought a pair of resin earrings. I loved (and still do) them so much, I just had to crack that technique! Et voilà! Result is presented on this site.

I am not an artist and I do not intend to become one. I have a full time job in office and project administration and a wonderful family with two small boys who keep me busy. But this new little hobby of mine brought a new, unknown to me earlier, joy of creativity to my life and I am thankful for it. In the late evenings, when boys are asleep, in my little hobby room I get to play with colours,

shapes and forms.Working with resin is truly amazing as it brighten up everything it touches and shows it in another light.
